They didn't just cater a wedding; they crafted an exquisite culinary experience that truly elevated the entire day. Machi and his team at Vi's Catering were incredible with handling the catering for our wedding at White Night Receptions on Saturday 8th November 2025.
Machi went above and beyond to deliver an amazing experience, from the food being fresh and delicious - whilst also looking after us throughout the day with meals and refreshments.
Not only was the food excellent, but his team were able to assist with other things beyond food, such as setup and coordination with other vendors. It was obvious Machi and his team have worked at this venue before, and were able to quickly navigate through any potential issues without any problems.
There is no hesitation in recommending Machi and his team.

We had machi's team from vi catering handle our catering for our wedding at riverlea estate.
Extremely satisfied with the results, couldn't have asked for a better caterer. They delivered as promised their high level quality service.
Special thanks to Eric the manager who helped us handle the night, despite sudden changes on the night. With their expertise and experience, he handled it like a pro and made it seamless. No issues throughout the night.
The seafood banquet was perfect, all guests were satisfied with the service and the quality of food. Everybody loved it. And despite our large headcount I was deeply impressed that they were able to serve all guests with the food and plated hot!!

We had our wedding at The Manor on High with close to 400 guests, and Machi and his team absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, they were accommodating with all our guests’ dietary requirements (vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) and made sure everyone was well looked after.
The food itself was incredible – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated in individual portions. Even our parents (who can be very picky when it comes to food at Asian weddings!) could not stop complimenting how delicious everything was. The lobster and seafood were especially fresh and a highlight of the night.
What really stood out was the special opening performance, which was unique, fun, and set such a memorable tone for the evening. Guests were impressed from the start.

This is the 3rd time we used as we are extremely happy with their service and their food. The team was so well trained with happy, smiling faces. The manager had great attention to details and knew exactly what I was looking for by just looking at my eye contact. We had the absolute pleasure of using Vi’s Classic Catering for our wedding dinner on 20/7/25 Sunday night — our very first big family event. As the eldest son in the family, I was under a lot of pressure to make sure everything went well. Despite a delayed start to dinner, Machi, the Director, personally stepped in and worked alongside his team to make sure all food was served promptly — everything was beautifully done by 9:30 pm.
The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Machi and his team oversaw everything from start to finish, and it really showed in the level of service and professionalism on the night.

We attended a Mother's Day dinner event last three weeks ago at a venue in Mulgrave and had very a great experience. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and the Chinese banquet was absolutely delicious. We were genuinely impressed as we have been to a few similar events before, but this one really stood out. Later in the evening, we came across a business card and realised it was all catered by Vi's Classic Catering. They truly did an amazing job, and we just had to leave a review to say thank you. It was a memorable night, and we’re happy to recommend Vi’s Classic Catering to anyone planning a wedding or Chinese event.
