We had a recommendation from our wedding venue to have Vi's Catering cater our wedding. Once we met Machi, we knew this was the right team to work with. We were fortunate enough to try the food at one of our friends wedding a week after we signed the contract with Machi. Machi took us to the kitchen to meet the crew and we couldn't wait till we had them in for our wedding. Throughout the whole process it was very smooth with Machi ensuring that we had enough food for the night and extras during the early afternoon as he knew our bridal party needed some food as it was a long day of taking photos. We had an amazing experience from food tastings, meetings online and in person to outstanding service on the night.
The food was beautiful, delicious and at a very competitive price - bonus points for paying extra attention to detail and catering to all food and dietary requirements!! Everyone loved the food 🩷

On Monday 23rd March 26 we held our welcome Overseas Chinese Association Melbourne Chapter for our dinner gathering at The Grand On Princess. From the moment we stepped into White Night on December 6th for Kim and Dat’s wedding, it was clear that Vi's Catering was operating on a different level of excellence. Machi and his team at Vi's Catering were incredible with handling the catering for our wedding at White Night Receptions on Saturday 8th November 2025.
Machi went above and beyond to deliver an amazing experience, from the food being fresh and delicious - whilst also looking after us throughout the day with meals and refreshments.
Not only was the food excellent, but his team were able to assist with other things beyond food, such as setup and coordination with other vendors. It was obvious Machi and his team have worked at this venue before, and were able to quickly navigate through any potential issues without any problems.

Extremely satisfied with the results, couldn't have asked for a better caterer. They delivered as promised their high level quality service.
Special thanks to Eric the manager who helped us handle the night, despite sudden changes on the night. With their expertise and experience, he handled it like a pro and made it seamless. No issues throughout the night.
The seafood banquet was perfect, all guests were satisfied with the service and the quality of food. Everybody loved it. And despite our large headcount I was deeply impressed that they were able to serve all guests with the food and plated hot!!

We had our wedding at The Manor on High with close to 400 guests, and Machi and his team absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, they were accommodating with all our guests’ dietary requirements (vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) and made sure everyone was well looked after.
The food itself was incredible – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated in individual portions. Even our parents (who can be very picky when it comes to food at Asian weddings!) could not stop complimenting how delicious everything was. The lobster and seafood were especially fresh and a highlight of the night.
What really stood out was the special opening performance, which was unique, fun, and set such a memorable tone for the evening. Guests were impressed from the start.
Machi was present on the day, as he is for every wedding, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The dishes were just as amazing as they were at our tasting, which says a lot about their consistency and quality.

We had the absolute pleasure of using Vi’s Classic Catering for our wedding dinner on 20/7/25 Sunday night — our very first big family event. As the eldest son in the family, I was under a lot of pressure to make sure everything went well. Despite a delayed start to dinner, Machi, the Director, personally stepped in and worked alongside his team to make sure all food was served promptly — everything was beautifully done by 9:30 pm.
The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Machi and his team oversaw everything from start to finish, and it really showed in the level of service and professionalism on the night.
