We had our wedding at The Manor on High with close to 400 guests, and Machi and his team absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, they were accommodating with all our guests’ dietary requirements (vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) and made sure everyone was well looked after.
The food itself was incredible – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated in individual portions. Even our parents (who can be very picky when it comes to food at Asian weddings!) could not stop complimenting how delicious everything was. The lobster and seafood were especially fresh and a highlight of the night.
What really stood out was the special opening performance, which was unique, fun, and set such a memorable tone for the evening. Guests were impressed from the start.
Machi was present on the day, as he is for every wedding, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The dishes were just as amazing as they were at our tasting, which says a lot about their consistency and quality.
We received so many compliments from guests, and we couldn’t be happier with the service and food. Highly recommend Machi and his team to anyone looking for a wedding caterer who delivers both professionalism and truly outstanding food.

On Saturday 09.08.2025, my wife & I had an opportunity to work with the team of Vi's classic catering for our 20th wedding anniversary at White Night Reception. This is the 3rd time we used as we are extremely happy with their service and their food. The team was so well trained with happy, smiling faces. The manager had great attention to details and knew exactly what I was looking for by just looking at my eye contact. The team not only provided 5 stars guests service, they also did welcome parade floor show too which entertained the guests. Thanks so much for being part of our celebration as always.

We had the absolute pleasure of using Vi’s Classic Catering for our wedding dinner on 20/7/25 Sunday night — our very first big family event. As the eldest son in the family, I was under a lot of pressure to make sure everything went well. Despite a delayed start to dinner, Machi, the Director, personally stepped in and worked alongside his team to make sure all food was served promptly — everything was beautifully done by 9:30 pm.
The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Machi and his team oversaw everything from start to finish, and it really showed in the level of service and professionalism on the night.
We can’t thank Vi’s Catering enough for making our special day so smooth and memorable. We would definitely use them again for future events. Highly, highly recommended!

On the night we had a few additional guest which were not accounted for however machi made sure to prepare extra servings in such situations. Truly a professional and treats every customer with care. We attended a Mother's Day dinner event last three weeks ago at a venue in Mulgrave and had very a great experience. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and the Chinese banquet was absolutely delicious. We were genuinely impressed as we have been to a few similar events before, but this one really stood out. Later in the evening, we came across a business card and realised it was all catered by Vi's Classic Catering. They truly did an amazing job, and we just had to leave a review to say thank you. It was a memorable night, and we’re happy to recommend Vi’s Classic Catering to anyone planning a wedding or Chinese event.

1. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was—many even said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Every dish was cooked to perfection with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were just amazing, and every bite felt like a celebration in itself.
